Born and raised in Orlando, FL, Ash spent his teenage years immersed in Florida’s booming 2000s punk scene. He loved the exctatic energy of live music, and began taking photos through disposable cameras and an ancient point-and-click as a hobby.

After earning a degree in theatre he moved to New York City in 2014, where he took advantage of the city’s plethora of venues to see shows as often as he could.

In 2025, after a moshing-career-ending injury, Ash decided to bring his love of photography to the forefront. He now spends his free time capturing local and touring bands, as well as taking photos for theatre and other live performances.

Ash is currently based in Queens, NY.
